Frisky's 2019 - 2020 Paper Piecing Class

If you like crisp points in your quilt blocks, but have difficulty achieving them, it's time to try paper-piecing.

Our class will use precut fabric swatches to create one-of-a-kind 12 1/2" quilt blocks that will be set into Edyta Sitar's "2014 Block of the Month Finishing Pattern".  You will have the option of using one of Carol Doak's paper-piecing books (300 Paper-Pieced Quilt Blocks or 50 Fabulous Paper-Pieced Stars*) from which to choose blocks for your quilt.  The class will complete 12 or 13 paper-pieced blocks, then set them into Edyta's pattern.

If you are already a confident paper-piecer and own a book or buy a book, you may wish to purchase Edyta's quilt pattern and pick up your block patterns at the shop to work on at home each month after our initial meeting.  I hope you will join us for the fun!

*Due to copyright laws, students must already have a book or purchase a book to participate in this class.

The instructor is your favorite paper piecing guru Frisky Vickie Johnson.

This is an intermediate level class.

This class will meet on the first Thursday of every month from 10 am - 3 pm.

The finished quilt size is 68 1/2" x 88 1/2".
