Block of the Month - Quilt Assembly Sessions

Month to month you've been building your skills and a beautiful collection of quilt blocks.  You've come to the reward of learning to set your blocks together into a completed quilt. Even if you haven't had the opportunity to attend each class, come and learn how to create your setting.

This class will focus on creating large flying geese and square-in-a-square blocks that will become the framework for the sampler blocks you've made each month.

Then, May 8 and May 13, you are welcome to come and join the Block of the Month Paper Piecing class to finish your quilt assembly.

Please bring to class:

  • Your selected fabrics
  • Your sewing machine - remember your power cord, foot petal, and 1/4" foot
  • Your small cutting mat and rotary cutter (large ones will be available in the classroom for your use)
  • Your basic machine sewing tools and supplies including thread, bobbins, seam ripper (you know, just in case someone else needs to borrow one), thread snips, etc.
  • Your lunch
